Advanced international selling

If you sell directly on our international sites, configure your PayPal account to receive or block payments in various currencies by changing your settings in My Account > Profile > Payment Receiving Preferences.

PayPal fees

PayPal’s global platform allows you to accept payments from international buyers in a safe and secure way. Make sure you're aware of our fees for international selling.

Other payment methods

While certain payment methods may be standard for domestic selling, they’re not always convenient for international selling.

PayPal is an easy way to get started accepting international payments. It’s convenient, works on nearly all of our sites and lets you concentrate on expanding your business to new markets.

Other payment methods

Each of our sites has an accepted payments policy detailing which payment methods can be used and which are prohibited. If you want to offer payment methods other than PayPal, make sure you:
  • Read our accepted payment policies.
  • Can receive payments in the local currency of the site on which you plan to sell.
  • Are aware of any extra processes or fees associated with your payment method.
